Vincent DePaul "Brad" Bradley, 94, of West Warwick passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 6, 2017 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick.

He was born on January 25, 1923, in Panama Canal Zone, Panama to James and Frances (Smilley) Bradley.

He graduated from Villanova with a degree in business. He later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School with an MBA.

He was a sergeant in the Army serving as a Merrill's Marauder in W.W. II, receiving the Asiatic Pacific Campaign medal with two Bronze Stars, a Presidential Unit Citation, and the Combat infantry badge.

He retired as an executive from the Atlantic Richfield Company in 1976. After retiring from Atlantic Richfield Company after 33 years, he then served on the East Greenwich Town Council for over 22 years with four years as President. He also served on the East Greenwich School committee for four years with two years as its chairman. He was also a finance instructor at the La Salle University for 15 years in the evening divison.

He was an active and dedicated member of the Club Frontenac, the Crompton Veteran's Organization, the Club Jogues, the Elks Lodge # 1697, the Knights of Columbus at St. Anthony's Church in West Warwick, and the American Legion Post # 2, where he was awarded the Warwick Division Pool Champion in the spring of 2014, and the 8-Ball Champion in the summer of 2012, the spring of 2015, and the fall of 2015.

Vincent is survived by his children; Greg and Karen Bradley of Santee CA, Mark and Trish Bradley of Wilmington, DE, William and Kate Bradley of Gaithersburg, MD, Helene Bradley of Exeter, R.I., Maureen and Michael Legault of SanTan Valley, AZ, his brother Louis Bradley of FL, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Helen (Hopson) Bradley and his eldest son, Dr. Vincent D. Bradley.

His funeral will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10 am from the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in SS. John and James Church, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Rev. David Thurber, Jr. will officiate the ceremony. Interment with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8 pm. Father Peter Polo will hold a service at the end of the calling hours. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vincent's life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory maybe made to INSIGHT at 43 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, R.I. 02888. The family would like to thank Jackie Mitchell and Maryrose Stephenson (caregivers) for their dedication to Vincent.
