Tom retired from the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance as a Sr. Clerk. He enjoyed bowling, music, WWE wrestling, and spending time with his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his brother, Leo J. Rivers Jr. of Loudonville, Jacob R. (Ruth) Rivers Sr. of Colonie, and his sister, Frances M. Reed of Colonie. Tom cherished his time with his nephew, Jacob R. Rivers Jr., and his niece, Katie M. Rivers. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tom was predeceased by his father, Leo J. Rivers Sr., his mother, Frances Sophie Samarija Rivers, and his brother-in-law, John J. Reed.
Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
