Wade F. Henderson passed away on Oct. 30, 2017, at Providence Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born on June 27, 1955, in Corona, Calif.

He grew up in an Air Force family, traveling around the country from base to base.

His family moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, in the late 1960s.

He graduated from Eieslson High School and attended University of Alaska Fairbanks for a while.

He had a love for music and played the guitar.

He went to Heat School in Seattle, Wash., and became a Heat Technician.

Eventually he went into the Air National Guard, were he became a Crew Chief.

He loved working on planes.

He spent many years in Moose Creek helping his parents with their business.

He had an easy going, happy attitude and lived a simple life.

One of his favorite pastimes was feeding the ducks and sitting by Campbell Creek taking in the sun.

He had a soft heart for all animals and loved working in the yard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Jean Henderson; and his brother, Michael Henderson.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Morrison with her husband Glenn and their children Cameron and Jamison; his brother Brett Henderson with his son David and his family; and several nephews and nieces.

Wade will be laid to rest at Anchorage Memorial Cemetery in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, close to his mother.
