Mr. JOhn Richard Forrest, 93, of Hagerstown, MD. died Sunday, November 5th at his home.
Mr. Forrest, born in Funkstwon, MD; was the son of the late Edgar Blaine and Ada Mae Shyeley Forrest, and the widower of Virginia Etheline Covington Forrest. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar M. Forrest and Charles R. Forrest; three sisters, Carrie M. Forrest, Naomi Rankin and Lelia M. Steen.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as a contractor for Better Homes, Inc. His hobbies included wood working, traveling, and home improvements, watching sports on TV, cooking and baking.
