Mrs. Jane Ellen Hargrove Bradshaw, 87, of 8209 Faison Hwy, Faison, NC. died Sunday , November 5th at her daughter's home in Newport, NC. surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Bradshaw, born in Stamford, Texas, was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franlin Hargrove and Etha Mae Sharp Hargrove, and the widow of Delmon Henry Bradshaw. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Natalie Brooke Odom; brothers, Jessie Martin Hargrove, Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Hargrove; sisters, Lillian Nance, Betty Jones, Dorothy Frazier, Billie Hollingsworth Lee, Lois Opal Faircloth, and Mae Hargrove Troublefield.

In 1938 her family moved to Sampson County, NC and she remained her for the rest of her life. She was a homemaker and a life long member of Poplar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, serving the Lord as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She operated a Beauty Shop in Turkey, NC. for many years before moving it later to her home. She also worked in the cafeteria at Hargrove School. She was loved by many and known simply as "Nanny".

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Bradshaw Kennedy of Faison, Dorothy Bradshaw Smith and husband William "Bill" of Newport; Delma Bradshaw Price and husband Kenneth of Faison; and Mary Bradshaw McQueen and husband Jack of Morehead City; sons, Henry Frank Bradshaw and wife Sharon of Faison; and Gene Braddshaw and wife Linda of Faison; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a brothre-in-law, Ted Tillman of Goldsboro;and a special friends and nurse for many years, Amanda Bass, RN.

The family received following services at the church.

The funeral services were held at 7 PM, Tuesday evening , November 7, 2017 at Poplar Grove Missionary Bsptist Church, Faison with the Rev. Ray Smith and the Rev. David Jones officiating.

Entombment was made 10 AM, Wednesday morning in Devotional Garden Cemetery in Warsaw.
