Jessie Wes King, 51, of Gassaway passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was born in Sutton on December 21, 1965 the son of RoseMary Riffle King Wyne & the late Jessie Braden King. He was also preceded in death by his infant son, Tyrone King. Wes was a member of Christ Church United Methodist.
Wes is survived by his mother, RoseMary Riffle Wyne of Gassaway; companion, Shellie Jarrell of Gassaway; son, LeRoy King of Montgomery, WV; step sons, David Jarrell and Anthony Jarrell both of Gassaway, Joseph Jarrell of Ohio; daughters, Nicole King and RoseMary King both of SC; brother, Roger Dillon King of Birch River; sisters, Genelda A Brown Miller of Frametown, Bonnie L King of Birch River, Sarah L Sartin of Little Birch, Sandra J Sartin of Tesla, Pamela S King and Mary Harper both of Gassaway; and 8 step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with Rev. Doug Smailes officiating. Burial will follow at Hoover Cemetery, Bug Ridge Rd. Sutton. Friends may call after 12 noon at the funeral home.
