Nancy Burruss, 62, passed away, February 3, 2011, in Seattle, Washington. She was born November 26, 1948, in Prosser Washington.

Nancy spent her life devoted to her Husband, Dave Burruss, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cooking and spending time with family. She was known as Grandma to many. Her cooking made her especially famous amongst the grandchildren and their friends. Often her phone would ring with a request for a favorite dish and she would happily make it. She had a huge heart and was always looking out for her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by both her parents, her sister Donna, Aunt Katherine Flora, her Grandson Justin and Great-Grandson Josiah. She is survived by her Husband of 27 years Dave Burruss of Benton City WA, Her 7 children, 19 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, her brother Bart Templeman and numerous cousins.

Nancy's family will forever miss her and feel blessed to have had her in their lives. She truly made a difference. She was the most loved Wife, Mother and Grandma in the world.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harborview Medical Center in her name.

NOTE from High School Classmates: Nancy attended the following schools in the Richland (WA) School District: Lewis & Clark Elementary; Carmichael Junior High; and, Columbia (now renamed Richland) High School in Richland, WA. Nancy graduated or would have graduated with the Class of 1968, on June 6, 1968.
