Lindsay Roberts was born in New Milford, Connecticut to Dr. Howard and Dorothy Morrow.

Lindsay grew up in Sherman, Connecticut, and graduated from Mahopac High School in New York.

After working and attending several colleges in the New England area, she moved to Fresno, California in 1982 where she served as a Christian Missionary. During her service, she met Stephen Roberts, and they were married a year later on October 15, 1983, at Yosemite, California.

She then studied at California State University, Fresno and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics and a teaching credential in both Home Economics and Art Education.

Lindsay was a fabric artist, and worked as an Art Teacher at Madera High School from 1991 until she retired last month. She was an advisor to the Madera High School Art Club, and a well-respected and beloved teacher.

Lindsay was a master scuba diver, and traveled throughout the world diving. One of her greatest moments was during a night dive in the Red Sea off of the coast of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where she interacted with the reef's night creatures including various schools of fish, octopi, shrimp, and lionfish feeding at night.

Lindsay had a love for the environment. She also had a great love for animals, especially her two cats, Jackson and Rebekah. It was not unusual to see her nursing a squirrel to health, caring for an injured bird, or watching the humming birds play around the feeders.

The family would like to thank Dr. Helen Jones, Dr. Bonna Rogers-Neufeld, Dr. Margaret Hadcock, Dr. Marshall Flam, the staff at the Hematology Oncology Medical Group, St. Agnes Home Health, and St. Agnes Hospice for their loving care and support.

She was preceded in death by her father Howard; and sister Vicky.

Lindsay is survived by her husband, Stephen; her brother, Jeremy Morrow and sister-in-law, Mary Morrow of Aiea, Hawaii; her brother, Steven Morrow of Scottsdale, Arizona; her sister, Julia Morrow of Northridge, California; and her mother, Dorothy Morrow of Irwin, Pennsylvania.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Luke's Community Church on Saturday, March 24, 2007, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made, in memory of Lindsay Roberts, to the Madera High School Art Club, 200 South 'L' Street, Madera, CA 93637.
