Margaret Malone, 93 of Wall passed away on Sunday November 5, 2017 at the Tower Lodge, Wall with her family by her side.
Margaret was born and raised in Bronx, NY and had lived there until 1984 when she moved to the jersey shore area. Margaret worked the Archdiocese of New York for 20 years as an administrative assistant at St Helena & Msgr Scanlan HS, Bronx, NY. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, being at the beach, bowling and rooting for the Yankees.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Walter Malone in 1998 and three brothers and a sister. She is survived by four sons and their spouses and a daughter and her husband, Michael and Joan Malone of Wilmington, NC; John and MaryJane Malone of Toms River, NJ; Tom and Ann Malone of Jensen Beach, FL: Peggy and Russ Peterson of Toms River, NJ; and Stephen and Ann Marie Malone of Wall NJ. Margaret was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday November 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am on Friday November 10, 2017 at St. Rose Church, Belmar. Interment will be 10 am on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Brig Gen William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
