Miss Charity Rose Brown, 19, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday morning, November 6, at Sneads Ferry.

Charity, from the Seven Springs community, was a member of the 2016 graduating class of Spring Creek High School. While at Spring Creek, she was active in many of its activities. Charity was attending Cape Fear Community College at Wilmington, pursuing a degree in business. She was employed at the Turtle Factory at Sneads Ferry and had developed a closeness with her employers, Ann and Ken Kreiger. She was a member of the Mount Olive ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A young lady so full of life, she brought a smile to everyone she encountered. Very likeable and lovable, she knew no strangers and enjoyed the company of family, friends, and especially "her Tyler." The beach brought peace and joy to her countenance.

Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Thursday, November 9, between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. At other times, friends may call at the home of Charity's parents.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 10, at 11 a.m. from the Mount Olive ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial following at Pineview Cemetery, Seven Springs, across from the home of her parents.

Charity is survived by her dad and mom, Richard Dwayne and Stephanie Jean Rouse Brown; her brother, Dwayne Brown of Seven Springs; her "sister," Lexie Lee Barton of Seven Springs; her "one and only love," Tyler Ludlum of Sneads Ferry; her maternal grandparents, Bryan and Diane Rouse of Goldsboro; maternal great-grandmother, Vera Carter of Beulaville; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many dear and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jimmy Brown and Roseleen Brown Nethkin; and a cousin, Ryan Kornegay.
