Shirley Mae Sheets age, 81 of Piney Flats went home to be with her Lord Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Wellmont Hospice House of Bristol.

She was the daughter of the late Jim Gibson and Ruby Lee Reed Hinkle. She was also proceeded in death by her husband Lewis Sheets and two brothers Larry Wayne Hinkle and Jessie Lynn Hinkle.

Shirley was formerly employed by North Electric and Greystone Healthcare. She enjoyed watching westerns and loved her little dog Oreo and spending time with her family and church family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother; Rick Hinkle of Kingsport, a special friend Edie Sutherland of Kingsport, a cousin; Phyllis Scalf (Gene) of Bluff City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her church family.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. at Tetrick Funeral Home – Bluff City with Pastor Vernon Perry Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1:00 at New Bethel Cemetery in Piney Flats, TN. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Scalf and Adam Scalf. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bristol Hospice House, neighbors and Gwen Ford.
