He was born March 14, 1934, in LaRue County to the late Marion Scotty and Carneila Price Handley.
He was one of the original singers with the Lincolnairs. He sang in the choir for more than 40 years with Pleasant Union Church and First Baptist Church.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alda Johnson Handley; his parents; three sisters, Lila Handley Mitchell, Alice Handley McClain and Sarah Handley Taylor; and two brothers, Paul M. Handley Sr. and Samuel P. Handley.
