Tiffany Elaine Jackson

GASSAWAY - Tiffany Elaine Jackson, 13, of Gassaway went to be with the Lord Nov. 11, 2003, dying of injuries received in a horse riding accident.

Tiffany was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church, Gassaway, and frequently attended Flatwoods Baptist Church. Her passions were her animals, horses and her dogs, Sadie and Jackie. Tiffany was an eighth grade honor student at Braxton County Middle School. She was an All-Conference Cheerleader and band member. She belonged to the Central West Virginia Riding Club and was a junior member of the West Virginia Horsemen's Association and the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association. She recently won High Point Trophies in Miniature Halter, Youth Walking, Pacing or Racking, Junior Walk Trot or Favorite Gait and Youth Pleasure.

Tiffany is survived by her loving parents, James and Teresa Jackson; her beloved brother, Tyler; great-grandmother, Minnie Fouty of Blue Creek; paternal grandparents, Paul and Lola Jackson of Gassaway; maternal grandparents, Harry and Margaret Hoffman of Pinch; uncles and aunts, Steve and Tamara Hoffman of Pinch, Rob and Janet Barnett of Weston, Linda Steen of Gassaway, Bill and Donna Eakins of Warren, Ohio, Bill and Jeanne Jackson of Gassaway, John Jackson of Gassaway; and many cousins.

Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Braxton County Middle School with Pastor Paul Beatty and Pastor Jeff Hanna officiating. Burial will be in the M.P. Cutlip Cemetery, Cutlip Fork, Gassaway.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Braxton County Middle School.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Braxton County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 486, Sutton, WV 26601.
