Carolyn S. Griffith, age 75, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Huntington Township High School in 1960 She was a machine operator at HK Porter and a group leader at E-Systems- Memcor, retiring in 1976. She also worked at Walmart as a greeter.
Carolyn was born October 1, 1942, in Huntington County, the daughter of Jerald “Bub”and Eileen (Smith) Bunker. On November 15, 1974 she married her beloved husband Max E. “Butch” Griffith in Huntington and he passed away March 1, 2005. She is survived by a brother Jerry (Linda) Bunker, nieces Dawn Weeks and Elizabeth (Jay) Gonzales, nephew Joe Ferguson, and sister Kay (Bill) Hayden, best friend Chris Crago, and grandchildren of the heart Kraegen (Amber), Kaylor (Alecia), Karlie and Alivia. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kathy Bunker, and nephew-in-law Brian Weeks.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 11, at 1:00 pm at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
