Carolyn was born December 20, 1946 in El Reno, OK to the late Mr. Gilbert N. Gardner and Mrs. Nettie B. (Cox) Gardner. She passed from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Ardmore.
Carolyn attended high school at Seligman, Az. She was blessed with 6 children, David, Ronald, Donald, Daniel, Shannon and Amanda. She then moved to Oklahoma where she worked for Walmart for 30 years. Carolyn loved Elvis and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Nettie and by a son, Donald Davenport.
Carolyn is survived by her spouse, Gary Claxton of Wilson; children, David Ortiz of AZ, Ronald Davenport of New Zealand, Daniel Bowden of FL, Sannon Ketchersid of FL and Amanda Alexander of TX; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Ronald Gardner and David Gardner and sister, Rhonda DeBerry, and other family and friends.
