She was preceded in death by her father Donald J. Price; grandparents, Donald B. and Bessie Price and Merrill and Freida Kimm.
Kim was born June, 23, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Donald J. and JoAnn (Kimm) Price. She graduated in 1984 from North Linn High School.
In October of 1985, Kim married Dave Taylor at Peace Lutheran Church in Ryan. In this union their daughter was born. Years later, she married Dan Ellis in June of 2001 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They later divorced.
She worked at Myers-Cox as an accountant for over 15 years. Kim was a very good, loyal employee.
She enjoyed living on the Mississippi River, gardening, and being outside. Kim had an amazing green thumb. She was selfless and would do anything to make others happy. One of her greatest joys was being a grandma. She is dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Unity Point Hospice for Ed & Joan Hemphill Hospice Unit, 290 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in Kim’s memory.
