Svoboda, John J. 10/2/1957 - 1/19/2015 Sparta John Joseph Svoboda age 57 passed on Monday, January 19, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and kids. He was born on October 2, 1957 to Joseph and Rose Svoboda in Grand Rapids, Michigan. John never met someone he didn't know and was well known as a caring and loving husband, brother, father and friend. John will be missed by all. John is survived by his loving wife of over 32 years, Sue; sons, Corey & Amy, Kyle & Katie; daughter, Melanie & Jason Carr; grandkids, Rebecca, Jacob and Hunter; his mother, Rose Pellerito; siblings, Nancy VanNetter, Helen Sue & William Dells, Ken Svoboda, Mary & J.W. Hayes, Nikki & Steve Crane, Molly Stacey; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Bryan Schneider-Thomas officiating. Friends may meet the family at the church on Friday, 5 8 P.M.
