Lucy Victoria Beckner-Edwards, 68, of the Golden Harvest Long Term Care Unit in Welch, WV, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, in the Golden Harvest Unit. Lucy was formerly of Iaeger, WV.
Lucy was born March 19, 1949 in Lex, WV, a daughter of the late Stanford Beckner (Deceased) and Mae Keaton-Beckner (1927-1994). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Estil Edwards Jr. (Deceased); one son, Estil Edwards III (Deceased); and two brothers, Raymond Charles Beckner (1959-1963) and Stanley Beckner (Deceased).
Survivors include three sisters, Phyllis Beckner-Mines and husband Ronnie Mines of Princeton, WV, Marie Beckner-Williams and husband Butch Williams of Shelby, NC, and Shirley Beckner-Brabson of New Castle, PA; and three brothers, Douglas Morgan Beckner (1955-2018) of Roderfield, WV, Robert Beckner and wife Dollie Beckner of Iaeger, WV, and Tommy Beckner and wife Alice Beckner of Dallas, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 3, 2017, at 12:00 with Reverend Don Morgan officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery on Coon Branch Mountain near Iaeger, WV.
