Ronda Russell Taylor was born in LaPorte, Texas, on October 30, 1965 to Helen Harman and Virgil Russell. She grew up in the Old Center Community of Panola County, Texas, and graduated from Carthage High School in 1983. She worked for several different banks in Center Texas, but worked for many years at the Farm Service Agency. She decided to become a stay at home mom as she enjoyed raising her children and helping with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing the piano and at age 16 became the pianist for Old Center Baptist Church and continued her love for playing at the Woods New Hope Baptist church. Ronda passed away peacefully in her home on October 3, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Marjorie Beasley and her father Virgil Russell.
