DODGE CITY, KS.-- Benito "Benny" Lee Rojas, 60, died Thursday, November 2,2017 at his home.

He was born March 5,1957 at Pratt,Kansas the son of Benny Limon and Josephine Maria (Duran) Rojas. Benny worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service for 30 years until his retirement in April 2015 never once calling in sick, he named himself "Ironman". He took his job very serious and was very good at it. He was a huge KU fan and enjoyed all sports all of his life. His first word was "Ball". Not only was he a great athlete and involved in many sports, he enjoyed attending games and taking many family and friends with him. His family was his life and he looked at his nieces and nephews as his own children. He also loved his dog silver.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City.

Survivors include his mother, Josephine (Rojas)Olmstead and husband, Bob,Dodge City, KS.; brother, Daniel L. Rojas, Dodge City; sister, Maria Rojas of Dodge City; sister- in law, Lisa Rojas, Wichita,KS.; Nieces and Nephews, Daniel C. Rojas, Audrey (Rojas) McFeeters and husband, Zack, Haley Rojas and Dawson Lee Hampton; great nieces and nephews, Sydney, Sladen, Sage and Skylar; his right hand man Marvelous Marvin Stenzel; nearly lifelong friends/neighbors, Mike and Kris Helfrich; Nurmerous friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 7,2017 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday at the Church, with Fr. Neesh Parappanattu presiding.
