Joan was born in Wichita, KS to Robert T. and Dorothy Reeder on July 22, 1932.
Joan then moved with her family to San Bernardino, CA and later to Grants, NM in 1965 and eventually Albuquerque in 1976 where she lived for 36 years.
Joan is survived by her husband of 36 years Richard M. Neel, sons, Jeff Graham and his wife, Georgina of Monrovia, CA, Randy Graham of Durango, CO, Russell Graham of Albuquerque and his sons, Kevin and Brandon, brother, Robert Thomas Reeder Jr. and his son, Thom and his wife, Irene and her daughters, Jessica, Missy and Nichole of Belen, step-children, Duke Neel and his wife, Bonnie of Bosque Farms, their sons, Pace and Dee, Patty O'Brien of Rio Rancho and her sons, Wayne and Scotty, Melissa McQueen and her husband, John of Summerfield, NC and their daughters, Amanda, Lexie and Emilie, she has also been blessed with seven great-grandchildren.
Joan loved having the family all together, trips to the beach when she lived in California and made friends with everyone she met. This with Richard, her family and Scooter were the most important things in her life. Joan will be greatly missed. "Are we there yet?"
Services will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 12:00 p.m.
