FRANCES, Ky. Joseph Paul Simpkins, 46, of Evansville, formerly of Frances, died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. Mr. Simpkins was employed by Hess's department store as manager of the men's department.
Mr. Simpkins is survived by his father, W.L. Simpkins of Evansville; his mother, Fanny Martin of Evansville, and a son, Jerry Lee Simpkins of Evansville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem. The Rev. Eugene Wyatt will officiate. Burial will be in Frances Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.
