David E. Crook, 65, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away August 6, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born December 15, 1947 in Fort Smith to William Crook and Mary Slavens Crook. He was a dispatcher for the Fort Smith Maintenance Department and a Inspiring writer in the process of completing his 1st novel. He was preceded in death by one brother James Robert Crook.
There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 9th at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Crook of the home, one daughter Mary Forst of Benton, AR; one son David Andrew Crook of Fort Smith; two sisters June Vaughn of Charleston and Wilma Dean of Long Island, New York and three grandchildren Jacob and Samuel Forst and William Crook.
