Catherine Yant-Rowe was born
February 16, 1923 to Mr. James A.
Hall and Rebecca Hinson-Hall. She
attended Pine Park High School in
Havana, Florida and graduated with
the Class of 1942. She continued
her education and obtained her
Cosmetologist License. She was a
Licensed Cosmetologist/Business
Owner for forty-five plus years.

She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E.
Church in Apopka, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her
husband, Hosie Yant, Sr., parents,
Mr. James A. Hall and Mrs. Rebecca
Hinson-Hall, son, Robert "Bobby" Yant,
brother, Ulysses Hall, sister-in-law,
Mary Hall, grandchildren, James A.
Yant and Maya Yant-Davis.

Catherine passed away on Friday,
September 15, 2017. Her departure
is a deep and personal loss to her
family and friends and she will be
greatly missed by them all.

Catherine leaves to cherish precious
memories to: her husband, George J.
Rowe of Apopka, Florida; sons, Hosie
Yant, Jr. (Louise) of Orlando, Florida,
James C. Yant (Christene) of Spring Hill,
Florida, Ronald L. Yant, Sr. (Deloris)
of Apopka, Florida and Michael A. Yant
(Regina) of Houston, Texas; daughter,
Lila Yant-Holley (Arthur) of Tampa,
Florida; stepdaughter, Kadedra Kiner
(Frank) of Charleston, South Carolina;
goddaughter/caregiver, Angela Harris-
Simmons (Larry); grandchildren, Janice
L. Yant, Daryl Yant, Anthony "Ronnie"
Yant, Miracle H. Yant, Ronald Yant,
Jr. James M.J. Yant (Ieshia), Catherine
R. Yant, Michaela I. Yant, Malik N.
Yant, Mekhi A. Yant; step-grandson,
Caerrington Kiner; twelve great
grandchildren; two nieces, Barbara
Turner and Evelyn Williams of Tampa,
Florida; caregiver, Lula Harris, best
