ALMORINE BLAIR was the son of Andrew Blair Sr. and Mrs. Nealie (Coats) Blair.

He was one of several children born to his parents. His known siblings include Andrew Blair Jr., Acie Blair, Lenora Blair, Nancy Blair, Elizabeth Blair, Herman Blair and Frank Blair.

As a young man, he worked as a farmer, and he also worked for the Texas & Pacific Railroad Shops.

On December 15, 1905, he married Nellie Jessie -- the daughter of Silas Jessie and Mrs. Mary Davenport Jessie.

Their children include Willie (son), Essie (daughter) and Elizabeth (daughter).

He preceded his wife in death.

He was laid to rest on July 14, 1946 on the grounds of Red Oak Cemetery in Harrison County, Texas.

His daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sylvia Blair, as the informant on the death certificate.

Frank Johnson and the undertakers with Johnson-Rambo Funeral Home managed the burial arrangements.
