June 4, 1919 - November 4, 2017 Malcom Kelly Dye age 98 of McDowell husband of the late Alma Gayheart Dye passed away from this life on Saturday November 4, 2017 at his residence. Malcom was born on June 4, 1919 in Pike County, Kentucky a son to the late Lawrence Dye and Alifair Gayheart Dye Malcom was a retired Coal Miner and member of the UMWA.
Malcom is survived by his Sons: Merlin (Judy) Dye of Tiro, Ohio, Virgil (Larby Jean) Dye of Ashland, Ohio, Vernon Dye & Lance Dye both of McDowell, Kentucky; Daughters: Claudine Dye of Willard, Ohio, Clotine Alley of Romulus, Michigan, Diana Conley of McDowell, Kentucky, Loraine (Quincy) Cook of Bevinsville, Kentucky, Genieve Spears & Lisa Dye both of McDowell, Kentucky; 44 Grandchildren, 96 Great Grandchildren, 63 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Great Grandchild.
Along with his wife and parents he is preceded in death by his : Son & Daughters: Timothy Dye, Yvonne Kilgore, Jeweldean Dye & Deborah Short; five brothers: Kennel Dye, Bill Dye, Jack Dye, Hayes Dye, Woodrow Dye and John Dye; three sisters: Julie Caudill, Emma Moore and Hester Dye.
Time and Place of Services: Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 11am at Little Rosa Old Regular Baptist Church (IBA), McDowell, Kentucky
Visitation: after 6pm Sunday and all day Monday at the church
Officiating: Old Regular Baptist Ministers
Burial: Greenbury Hall Cemetery, McDowell, Kentucky
