Leah Annette Creeden, age 93, of Hixson went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017, in Chattanooga, TN. She was born October 8th, 1924, in St. Vincent to William and Emily Clarke. She was one of nine children: Sydney, Clifton, Lewis, Lionel, Hal, Norma, Dawson, and Noel. Married to George Creeden, Leah had eleven children: Beverly, Louise, Tammy, Arlene, Peggy, Dian, Peter, Earl, Brensley, Stanley, and James. She showed her family what true, constant, and absolute love meant. She had an insurmountable confidence in each of her children, and that motivated them to be the best they could be. In the darkest of times, she was the light that brought everyone back home.
Leah was preceded in death by her siblings: Sydney, Eric, Clifton, Lewis, and Lionel. And by her children: Beverly, Jimmy, and Louise. She is survived by dozens of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and eight children.
