Henry A. Getz, 97, of Morton, passed away Fri., Nov. 3, 2017 at Unity Point Health – Methodist in Peoria.
Henry was born Feb. 10, 1920. He married Ruth Unsicker on May 31, 1943 in Morton.
Surviving are four children, Jan Rouse, Marsha Woodhouse, Joe Getz, and Peter Getz; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death by his loving wife Ruth and his brother John.
He lived his entire life in Morton. He served as the President of Morton Buildings, Inc. from its founding until 2001.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of life reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Sat., Nov. 25, 2017 at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton.
