Lorene Lantrip White, 103, Died November 2, 2017, at Yalobusha Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS.

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 6, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Ken White Officiating.
Burial will follow in Ole Lebanon Cemetery in Toccopola, MS.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. Prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.

Born in Derma, MS, to the Late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Allen Lantrip.

Mrs. White was a Beautician in her Home for Twenty Years,

She was an Active Participant in Eastern Star and the Lafayette Homemakers Club.

She was a Member of Toccopola Baptist Church and then at Highland Baptist Church in Vicksburg, MS, where she Lived for Twelve Years.

She later Moved Back to Oxford and Attended North Oxford Baptist Church.

Along with her Parents, she was Preceded in Death by her Husband; Halbert N. White; a Son, Robert N. White; Four Sisters, Lavonia Tidwell; Mary Avent; Madine Ivy “Poochie”; and Sunday Spears; and a Brother, Cecil Lantrip.

Survivors include her Son, Jim M. White, Sr. of Water Valley, MS; Sister, Jimmie Harris of Memphis, TN; Seven Grandchildren; Thirteen Great Grandchildren; and One Great Great Grandchild.

Memorial Contributions in Mrs. White’s Memory may be made to the Old Lebanon Cemetery Fund, c/o Johnny McCharen, 598 McCharen Road, Thaxton, MS 38871.
