Army Sgt. Major James Albert Jeffers, age 60, passed away peacefully if the arms of his beloved wife on Friday November 2, 2017.

Born April 28, 1957, he is the son of surviving parents Jessie and Virgie Jeffers of Jellico, also survived by sisters Martha and husband Jimmy Perkins of Jellico and Gail and husband Sherman Stevens of Cleveland, TN, Special children include Lorie Wilson of Clinton, Robert Shaun McCoy and Annie Hucks of Lexington, NC, Shannon Silcox, Beverly Jeffers, and Nikki Webb. His beloved grand children include Reagan and Jack Wilson, Ella Rae McCoy, Cayden and Sailor Hucks, Isaac Webb, Ryan Webb, Cody Webb, and Courtney Carroll, Great grand children include Zoe Webb, Jazmine Webb, Madison and Cheyenne Carroll. Special thanks to friends Warren and Pamela Byrge.

A celebration of Life will be held at Martin Wilson Funeral Home in LaFollette followed by an Honor Guard Ceremony on Saturday November 4th from 2:00-3:00 PM.
