Robin Louise Campbell was born November 10, 1956 to Robert and RoJean Dawson of Des Moines, IA.
Growing up Robin was a wonderful and caring sister to her siblings. Robin attend school in Des Moines, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1977.
After graduation Robin worked for Iowa Methodist Hospital as the manager of housekeeping staff for the Iowa Methodist Medical Clinics. On June 13, 1980, Robin married William Marcum. To this union two daughters were born. Robin and Bill continued to work and raise their family in Des Moines, until moving to Clearfield in 1994. Robin was a good provider to her family, she held jobs at Gummie Bears and Sunbest Foods. In December of 2000 she began working at Clearview Home in the dietary department as evening cook. Robin enjoyed preparing the residents special requests at supper time, it was important to her to make a difference in their lives.
William passed away on May 1, 2001. Robin continue to work at Clearview while being a single parent and grandparent. If Robin did take time for herself, you would find her enjoying a game of cards with her sister, children, grandchildren and nephews. Traveling places with friends to play Bingo was another favorite past time Robin enjoyed.
Jerry Campbell of Clearfield came into Robin’s life and they were married on November 7, 2003. Robin welcomed Jerry’s three children to the family. In 2005, Robin’s family was complete with the arrival of Granddaughter, Mariah. Jerry and Robin treasured their time together, while both were busy working and providing for their families. Unfortunately, their time together ended much to quickly, when Jerry passed away suddenly on December 24, 2009. Robin, reluctantly retired due to poor health in 2011. Yet through it all, she continued to stay connected to her Clearview family from her home across the street. Robin entered Clearview Home in November 2015 as a resident, where she enjoyed being with her coworkers and friends. Robin left this earth, with her Clearview family by her side on November 2, 2017.
Left to cherish Robin’s memory are her daughters; granddaughters; sisters Judy and Roxanne; father-in-law;
three step-children; brothers and sisters-in-laws; nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother Bobby; husbands William Marcum and Jerry Campbell.
