She was a lifelong Joliet resident.
Joann was a teacher at Bentley Grade School in New Lenox. She later became a board member and active volunteer of the Joliet Catholic Women's Club. She supported the Pediatrics Ward at St. Joseph Hospital.
She was also a board member on the Minooka Grade School P.T.A.
Joann enjoyed coaching Troy Baseball and being active with her children throughout their little league careers.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, David Lee; children, Christina (Diane) Lee, Ryan (Catherine) Lee, Aaron Lee and Zachary (Ashley) Lee; grandchildren, Amelia and Emmett Lee-D'Amico, Margaret, Clara and Charlotte Lee, Evan and Nora Lee; sisters, Linda Linko and Arlene Delrose; brother, Robert Delrose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Fred Delrose and Lorraine (nee Mauger) Black.
