Actor. He was a character actor who was known for his work on British television, in film, and on the theatrical stage. His best known role was of the cleaner Harry Flagg on the soap opera "Coronation Street" from 2003 to 2004. His first television appearance came on the television program "Sketch Pad" in 1989. Besides "Coronation Street", he also appeared on such television series as "The Bill", "As Time Goes By", "Bloomin' Marvellous", "Emmerdale", "Heartbeat", "Casualty", and "Doctors". He made his first appearance in films in the 1989 film "Mack the Knife" and his later credits would include "Up 'n' Under" (1998), "Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?" (1999), "Bedazzled" (2000), "Mike Bassett: England Manager" (2001), "To Kill a King" (2003), and "Kill Keith" (2011). He also worked on the theatrical stage during his career. He also worked "behind the scenes" during several films. He passed away after a suspected insulin overdose.
