DEBORAH K. HARRIS-SHERMAN
December 20, 1955 ~ October 30, 2017
Deborah Harris-Sherman passed away at her home in Yukon on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the age of 61.
She was born December 20, 1955 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the daughter of Audie Harris and Francis Mayes.
Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Yanda & Son Funeral Home. The family has made available a time for remembering Debbie. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with interment that followed to the Yukon Cemetery.
Debbie was married to Terry Joe Sherman who preceded her in death on November 10, 2012.
Debbie attended Redlands Community College where she received her Associates Degree and worked many years in the Banking and Medical Industry.
In her younger years Debbie enjoyed helping her brothers and father work on cars, learning all she could. She enjoyed going out dancing with her sister and spent a lot of time gardening with her mother.
Debbie is the mother of two sons, one daughter and Grandmother of six perfect grandbabies, as she would say. Her family was her heart. Debbie found a lot of joy in spending time doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She loved OU football, enjoyed reading and shopping. She loved to shop!! We will miss all of her hilarious posts she shares with us on Facebook. She could get carried away with the funnies.
Deborah is survived by her son, Michael Harris and wife Khristi; daughter, Nicole Dolan and husband Rob; son, Ricky Harris;
grandchildren: Tyler Baxter, Taylor Harris, Brittany Collier, Paetra Dolan, Riley Hughes and Keleigh Brady-Harris;
mother, Francis Mayes; brother, Billy Harris and wife Teresa; sister, Shirlie Thompson and numerous other family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is also preceded in death by her father, Audie Harris and brothers, Larry and Ricky Harris.
