The 1850 census shows him living in Troy, Ohio with his parents, which is the same place listed as his birth place on his grave marker. There was a 1857 census in Minnesota, but I do not find him on it. I would assume he and his wife married in Ohio. I could not find any specific information about his death, but the date is on his marker. Although he died during the Civil War period, there is no record he was enlisted.
