Mrs. Keele was born November 17, 1926, in Blackville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Leroy C. and Ethel Mae Still. She was member of Barnwell United Methodist Church and the Jenny Bates Hagood Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Her special passions were cooking for her family and growing flowers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 3:00pm in the Barnwell United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7PM at Mole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 126, Barnwell, SC 29812 or the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place., Memphis, TN 38105.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jake L. Keele of the home,a daughter, and a son.
