Gary Don Hodges of Crittenden, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 70. He was born on December 16, 1946 in Lamesa, Texas to the late Leo and Jackie Hodges.

He was a retired Materials Manager with Amoco/BP Oil and Gas Company who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, outside work, collecting license plates, landscaping and spending time with his family. Gary was known to many as a patriotic, kind, and gentle soul with a great sense of humor and a love for Texas.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Carol Cavillo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, D.J. Hodges; his daughter, Michelle (Thomas) Ballard and grandchildren, Danielle (Brandon) Riley, Madalyn (Johnny) Wilkens, Jordan Hyland, and Chase Ballard;his great grandchild, Emersyn Hyland; his siblings, Randy (Charity) Hodges and Debbie (Ron)Huckeby; his brother-in-laws, Jerry "Tex" Rogers and Buddy (Takako) Rogers; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Bob) Burton; his nieces and nephews, Stacy, Mark, Kevin (Heidi), Jennifer (Shawn), Craig (Milea), Crystal (Tristan), Sophia Tracie and Bobby; great nieces and nephews, Kendal, Keely, Kirsten, Robby, Reed, Harper, Tucker, Claire and Maddie.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
