Clarence Julius Dies In Hospital
ALEXANDRIA -- Clarence Charles Julius, 68, formerly of Alexandria, died Sunday morning at the Veteran's hospital, Indianapolis, following an illness of five years.
He was born in Tipton County, and spent most of his life near Alexandria. He had resided in Jonesboro for the past 18 years, and had been employed there with the Paramite Wire and Cable Company before his retirement. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the American Legion.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jonesboro Friends Church with the Rev. Elmer Mock in charge. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Dolly; a daughter, Mrs. Emerson Shrout of Jonesboro; a stepson, Robert Colson of Elwood; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
