Roger B. Tipton, 68, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Wilmington.
Roger was born March 25, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Langley and Margaret (Reynolds) Tipton.
Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Tipton; daughters, Allison M. Tipton and Corrie R. Tipton Guisleman; and a granddaughter, Nyla Guisleman.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Angela Bashaw (Matthew); sister, Paula Sue Coots; brothers, Gary Tipton, John Tipton (Sherry) and Doug Tipton; nephew, Josh Tipton; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Guisleman, Warren Guisleman and Syndey Bashaw.
Roger was a lifelong mechanic working at Don Thompson Excavating for over 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 2 at the McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia with Rev. Joe Sweet officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the New Burlington Cemetery.
