Nancy M. Blotcky, 70, a resident of Manitowoc WI, passed away on Saturday October 14, 2017 at St Mary’s Home, in Manitowoc, due to complications associated with multiple sclerosis.

She was born in Bloomington IL on December 16, 1946, a first born daughter of the late Paul and Mary Harris.

She married Gary Blotcky, in Normal IL on March 1, 1980, who survives her.

She is also survived by her daughter, and three sons; Kelly (Maurice) Friedman of Chicago, Andy (Denise) Grimes, Bloomington IL, Chris (Kara) Grimes of Plano TX and Tim (Kristin) Grimes of Chicago. Also surviving are her sister, Polly (Pat) Benton, Naperville IL, a brother Jack (Ann) Harris, Davenport IA, and 7 grandchildren, Katy First, Lilly Friedman, Adam Grimes, Amanda Grimes, Sam Grimes, Sophie Grimes and Stephen Grimes, nieces, nephews, other relatives, in-laws and friends.

Nancy attended Trinity High School (now Central Catholic) in Bloomington and Illinois State University. She worked in retail, clerical positions and as a librarian. Nancy had lifelong friendships with classmates, coworkers and family who she adored and cherished. She loved her family, grandkids, angel figurines, books, music, dancing, a good haircut, little white dogs, get-togethers with friends, a good story, laughing and smiling, circus peanuts and hard red candies.

A memorial service to celebrate and honor her life will be held 11:30 am on November 6, 2017 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga. Fr. Michael Powell will officiate. She will be laid to rest in a graveside service at the Onarga Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 10:30-11:30 at Knapp Funeral Home in Onarga.
