Bob Perrine, 64, of Charleston, died April 8, 2017 after a short illness. Bob retired from Chase Bank. He was a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral. He established the Charleston Emergency Patrol Center, Mountain Ranger Division, serving as director for many years.

His loving family is left to cherish his memory: survived by his wife, Bunnie Marie Botkin Perrine; daughter, Carrie Perrine Sorgi and her husband Jay of Milwaukee, WI, son, Andrew W. Perrine of Charleston; grandson, Anthony Sorgi (who lovingly called his grandfather “ApAp”); granddaughter, Addison Perrine (6 months). Addison’s grandfather was longing to hear her call him Grandpa Grumpy Pants. He is also survived by his mother, Ruby Perrine of Charleston; and brother Amos W. Perrine of Charleston. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Amos William Perrine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Leon Sullivan Way, Charleston with the Very Rev. Fr. Donald X. Higgs officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Shaver Cemetery, Exchange Road, Sutton. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, April 10, 2017 at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia St., Charleston, where there will be a Wake Service at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: the Christian Service Fund, c/o Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, 1114 Virginia St., East, Charleston, WV 25301.
