Judy Lynn Monroe, of Knoxville, passed away October 31, 2017 in Knoxville, TN. Lynn was born March 3, 1949 in Maryville to Homer & Cleo Roberts. She began work in the transportation industry in the mid 70s and accumulated many friends in the field over the next 40 plus years. She enjoyed living life to the fullest and always spending time with her family and friends including her many beloved pets over the years.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Cleo Roberts, and brother, Gary Roberts. Survivors are husband of 30 years Tommie Monroe, children Robert Stephen Cox (Katie), Kristin Cox Whelahan (Shawn) and Robbin Kimberly Monroe Campbell, Grandchildren Ian Joseph Whelahan, Ashley Nicole McCarter and Isabella Beets.
Receiving of friends will take place on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. Interment will be Saturday November 4, 2017 at 11:00AM at Grandview Cemetery.
