Beloved husband of 62 years to Ann (Madden); loving father of Joanne Darrow (John, deceased), Gail, Roberta Papczun (Kent), Larry Thomas, Jr. (Jenna), Shelby; cherished grandfather of Brian, Terry, Deanna, Jay, Dan, Ken (Darrow) Brandi Sampsel (Doug), Kent Papczun Jr., Emma, Luke(Rickey); dear brother of Joe (Sandy), Jim (Dawn, deceased), Carol Fichter (Dick, deceased), Mike (Wendy, deceased), Tim (Janie). Great grandfather of 7.
Larry graduated from Hudson High School and retired from Alltel Communications after 42 years of service. He followed the path of his father with many years of devotion to the phone company. He was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer and a faithful servant of the Lord. He enjoyed wood working, fishing and his garden during retirement. He loved spending time with his family and was surrounded by them during his last days. We are joyful knowing he is with Jesus and waiting for us to join him.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St. Hudson, OH (on the square); where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
