Fred L. Murphy, Jr., 48, of Grayson went to be with his Lord Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Fred was born July 19, 1969 in Pontiac, MI a son of Fred L. Murphy, Sr. of Grayson and the late Delores Jean Murphy.
Fred was of the Christian Faith; worked as an auto parts specialist at many auto parts stores, and most recently in the deli at Ralph’s Food Fair. Fred enjoyed playing video games, being outdoors, traveling with his family and Cadillac cars.
Including his father Fred is survived by his four loving daughters, Courtney Lynn Murphy of Pontiac, MI, Brittany Ann Murphy of Flint, MI, Angelique Faith Murphy of Virginia, and Kaylin Nichole Spooner of Redford, MI; five grandchildren, Ayden Murphy, Carter Murphy, Trinity Sullivan, Serenity Sullivan and Arabella Murphy; a sister, Patricia Lynn Murphy of Grayson; and many friends and extended family who all mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday November 3, 2017 at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Bro. Jim Varney and Albert Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 am Friday until the service hour at the funeral home.
