Mrs. Rodgers, a Portsmouth native, was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie L. Rodgers; five daughters, Regina Blowe of El Paso, Texas, and Jacqueline Worrell, Gloria Rodgers, Faye Williams and Dana Rodgers, all of Portsmouth; five sons, Freddie Rodgers Jr., Horace Rodgers, Richard Rodgers, Kenneth Rodgers and Darrell Rodgers, all of Portsmouth; three brothers, Burl Williams of Portsmouth, Willie Williams of Onancock and Louis Williams of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Paul A.M.E. Church by the Rev. Horace B. Cross. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be placed in church at noon Friday.
