Kenneth E. Gilley died on June 14th at age 70 years old due to complications from congestive heart failure and vascular dementia at his home in Atkins, Texas.
Kenneth was born on June 14, 1947 to Claude Gilley and Frances Streetman Gilley in Wilson County, Texas.
The family settled in San Antonio, Texas, Kenneth graduated from Harlandale High school and lived for a time with his Uncle Thurman and his Aunt Elizabeth Gilley.
He met and married the love of his life, Wanda Weber on July 11th, 1970 and they had 2 children, Jana and Kendall. Kenneth Gilley loved fishing and was a basketball fan. He was a "jack of all trades" and was second Dad to many of Jana and Kendall's friends.
He is survived by his daughter and her spouse Michael Friesenhahn, son Kendall and spouse Wini and grandchildren Dana and Jay Frieshahn.. His love Wanda Gilley passed 1 year and 4 months before him. He is buried at Marcelina Cemetery in Floresville, Texas.
