Claude “Scotty” Scott, 70, of The Villages, FL, passed away October 28, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center due to complications following a vascular procedure. Scotty was born September 3, 1947 in Stockton, CA.

He worked in lumber sales in northern California for many years before relocating to The Villages, FL, to enjoy a life of leisure. Scotty had a passion for traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Scotty is predeceased by his father Charles Scott, and mother Ina Rodgers. He is survived by his sons John (Evelyn) Scott, Lonnie (Ellie) Scott, step-father Normie Rodgers and numerous grandchildren. Scotty is also survived by a loving companion and fellow adventure seeker, Phyllis Gramke.

Scotty truly loved his family and friends and was always in search of adventure and a good time.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Lady Lake, FL.
