“Dr. Kenneth G. Theis of Nyack...died at his home, 58 North Broadway, at 1:30 a.m. today...”
In addition to his own practice he had been associated with the Valley View Private Hospital, Blauvelt, and the Tappan Private Hospital. He was the son of Otto Frankyn Theis, shoe manufacturer, and Alice L. Theis of Clinton Avenue, South Nyack. He had studied medicine at New York University, where he was a member of Psi Upsilon and excelled in wrestling and baseball. He was a 1928 graduate of New York Medical College. Memberships included: the American Medical Association, the New York State Medical Society, the Manhatten Medical Society, the Rockland County Medical Society, the Grace Episcopal Church, Rockland Lodge F. and A. M., the New York Athletic Club, the Nyack Boot Club and the Alpha Sigma medical fraternity.
Dr. Theis was survived by Eleanor A. Theis, his wife, Eleanor Adele (Bubsy) and Yvonne Sandra, his daughters, Alice L., his mother, and one brother, Franklyn B.
