Virginia “Patty” Lee Rowe, 88, of South Point, OH passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born May 23, 1929 in Ironton, Ohio a daughter of the late Wesley and Matha Dillon Belville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, William “Billy” Belville. She was a member of the South Point Christian Church. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Keith Wilford Rowe; her beloved only child, Beverly and husband Greg Gaskin; two grandchildren, Shanna Lee (Gaskin) Aliff and Adam (Tiffany) Gaskin; three great grandchildren, Tyler Gregory Aliff, Stella McKenzie Aliff and Grace Virginia Gaskin; and an expected great granddaughter, Emma Kate Gaskin. Patty was a devoted wife and mother and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always gave of herself to others and was known for her cooking and baking skills. Funeral services will be 5 PM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Pastor Terry Noble officiating. Friends may visit from 3 pm to 5 pm Thursday before the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday, November 3, 2017 at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH.
