LORDSTOWN — William Henry Downing, 68, formerly of Cortland and Newton Falls, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at his home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1949, in Warren, the son of William and Mariam Ellis Downing.
William had worked maintenance at Sawgrass Apartment Complex, Howland.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Minton Downing of Lordstown; daughter, Beth M. Downing of Midway, Utah; sons, Benjamin W. of Girard and Bradley D. of Lordstown; sisters, Diane Martin of Cortland, Debbie Johns of Philadelphia and Denise Burns of Warren; and a brother, Terrance Downing of Kinsman.
Calling hours will be 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at James Funeral Home, Newton Falls, where funeral services will take place at 5 p.m. Cremation will follow.
